Who I Am

I’m Usama Babar, and for the past five years I’ve led the biomass division at Babar Aziz Balers. With a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication (Gold Medalist, Superior University), I brought my passion for storytelling and connectivity to transform our family’s wheat‑straw heritage into a full‑service biomass powerhouse—and to build our first true online presence.

What I Do

As Head of Business Development and Head of Biomass, I oversee every aspect of our biomass supply chain:

  • Inventory & Stock Management
    Ensuring our six regional baling centers maintain optimal wheat‑straw and biomass stocks for seamless mill supply.

  • Procurement & Quality Control
    Sourcing crop residues (wheat straw, rice husk, corn cob, and more), inspecting moisture and purity, and negotiating best rates.

  • Order Fulfillment
    From quotation through Purchase Order to delivery—coordinating payment collection, supplier payouts, and logistics to mills like Nishat, Sapphire, and Style.

  • Client Relations
    Building relationships with procurement managers, listening to their needs, and delivering solutions that save on freight, storage, and handling costs.

In short, if it’s to do with wheat straw baling or biomass supply in Pakistan, I’m hands‑on at every step.

Key Wins & Partnerships

  • Pioneered Biomass Division: Started our biomass operations before “biomass” was an industry buzzword in Pakistan.

  • Major Mill Contracts: Successfully fulfilled ongoing POs with top textile and paper mills—Sapphire, Nishat, Style, and more.

  • Export to UAE: Established containerized exports of premium bales, opening new markets for our farmers.

My Vision

I’m building toward a synchronized storage & logistics network that includes:

  1. Dedicated Storage Barracks: Acquiring large tracts of land to construct covered, moisture‑controlled warehouses—eliminating spoilage and ensuring consistent bale quality year‑round.

  2. Expanded Fleet: Adding 10‑wheeler trollas for high‑speed motorway deliveries, so we can supply any factory in Pakistan within hours.

My goal is to guarantee uninterrupted, high‑quality biomass for mills, foster rural employment through local baling centers, and keep Babar Aziz Balers at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions.
